50,000 credits. And I intend to use them all!
A pile of Codex credits, a very lazy army of agents, and why I care about supply chains.
OpenAI just gave me 50,000 Codex credits.
And I intend to use them all!
Meanwhile, I'd already hit my Claude Code Max limit. The API bill was looming darkly above my head. Then I saw all these scrumptious tokens lying around and got an idea.
“What if I just switch control over to Astra for the next week?” 💭💭💭
I thought about how Bilbo Baggins might have felt looking down at the One Ring.
I use Paperclip to organize multiple agents working in parallel. Mine run on a server, off my computer.
A stunty army of hotheaded, analytical, and very, very, very lazy digital employees. My agents.
But the tokens aren't the point.
I know I care about supply chains. I'm not entirely sure why. I met a guy who's REALLY into scooters, and I think that's about the greatest thing in the world. Sometimes you follow what draws you in before you can explain it.
Maybe I just want to be someone who helps keep civilization together and brings out the best in people.
What if we could find alternatives before a supply problem lands on someone's desk? And what if, eventually, you didn't have to keep all of that in your own head?
That's the future I want to work toward with SupplyChat.
For the people building physical things
The ones who know what an ESP32 is without looking it up.
You guys are making things I want to see exist. I want to help pull that future forward for everyone.
Start with one part. Send a drawing, a datasheet, or a few lines describing what you need. The first supplier search is free, without conditions. You get alternative suppliers with a source for each match, plus what the agent doesn't know.
Have a parts list? Tell us which part to start with. The free search covers that part, not the whole list.
Send your spec. Today, that page opens an email to hello@supplychat.ai. Attach what you have and add the quantity and destination. Check the message and attachments in your email app, then send.
If an NDA prevents you from sharing the original, use an anonymized, comparable part or three lines of text.
The experience I want to build next: drop in a file, add a voice note if it helps, inspect what you're sending, and get a confirmation. That flow isn't available yet.
(“Claude, can you clean up the onboarding pls xoxo.”)
What would you build with unlimited resources?
If you're out there thinking about personal spaceships, we wanna hear from you! 😉🍺
